Apple orchard covered with light pink flowers. All of this comes to mind when we hear the name Manali. Manali is like a beautiful gift of the Himalayas to the world. Manali is the most popular honeymoon destination in India.

Manali is also one of the most popular tourist places in Himachal Pradesh and India. There are many places of interest in Manali. I have written this blog about ten popular places of interest. 10. van vihar national park – Van vihar national park is at number 10 in this list. Here you can do some more activities including boating. You can also sit here under the shade of a huge fir tree and enjoy the natural beauty. It is customary for newlyweds to take pictures with rabbits. The park is still famous for its photography.

The entry fee for entering Bon Bihar is twenty rupees. In summer it is open from 8 am to 7 pm and in winter it is open from 8 am to 5 pm. Here you can spend an hour and a half. The main attraction of this park is a manmade lake which is located right in the middle of the landscape. Here you can enjoy boating and fun. The charge for 15 minutes of voting will be 30 rupees.

9. Mall road – Mall road is number two in our list. Mall Road is the main road. It can be called the heart of Manali. The big restaurants, shopping malls, cafes are all located on Moal Road. Besides, there is a police station, fire station, municipal corporation office etc. on that road. There is also a Himalayan Empire. Handicraft products such as local wool clothing, branded clothing, pottery items, jewelery and a variety of wood products are available here.

Vehicles other than emergency vehicles are prohibited on the road. Manali Mall Road is similar to Darjeeling Maidan, Shimla Ridge Maidan, MG Road in Gangtok. Here tourists can hang out and have a great time.

8. Anjani mahadev – Anjani mahadev is at number eight in this list. Anjani Mahadev Hall is a Hindu temple located two kilometers from Solang Valley. Anjani temple short track from Solang Valley. Since then it has been slowly gaining popularity. At present Anjani Mahadev Temple is the most-visited place in Manali. Since Himachal is called Dev Bhumi, you can come here and feel it. There is a staircase that goes up to Shivling. These stairs have become very sleepy as the water in the shower freezes.

So you have to climb very carefully. Another major attraction of this place is ice. If you come to Manali in summer and want to see the snow then come here. You can see snow here at any time of the year. Tao is only 13 kilometers away from Manali city. So I would say don’t miss this place by any means.

7. Manikaran – Manikaran is at number seven in our list. Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, 4 km from Kasal in Kullu district. Manikaran is a sacred religious site for Hindus and Sikhs. The people here have an idea that Mahadev and Parvati lived here for 11,000 years. And one of the earrings of Goddess Parvati was lost in the river here. And there was Mani in that swing, since then the name of this place is Manikaran. There are many temples and a gurudwara here.

The main attraction here is the hot water stream. The water here is very hot and it feels very sacred. Passengers come and bathe here, there are separate bathing places for men and women. It is said that various skin diseases get better after bathing here. In one place the water is so hot that people cook and eat. However, the scientific reason for the warming of the water here is the geothermal energy. For him, the water here is sometimes warm and sometimes cold.

6. jogini water falls – Number 6 on this list is jogini water falls. It is the largest waterfall in Manali. It is an attractive tourist destination. This fruit is located seven and a half kilometers away from Manali bus stand. The road from Manali Mall Road to Rotang falls on this waterfall. The sound and beauty of this fountain is very beautiful. This waterfall can be reached by trekking 40 to 50 minutes from Main Road.

This trekking spot is very narrow but very beautiful. Along the way you will come across various orchards and the river flowing along two banks, and in the distance you can see the peak of Rotang Pass. When water falls from a great height, its drops and water vapor come into the eyes and the mind is filled with joy. I would suggest you come here with a friend. However, it is better to avoid it if you have an older person with you.

5. club House – Club house is number five in this list. This club house is located just two and a half kilometers away from Manali Mall Road. It can be called the new tourist destination of Manali. The entry fee for entering here is 10 rupees. And is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The clubhouse is actually built for adventure activities. This place is ideal for everyone, big or small. That is why it is one of the most popular places in Manali.

This club house has lots of indoor and outdoor games. Visitors play a variety of games here. Adventure lovers can try jeep lining here. Where river is crossed by rope way. And bouncing on the river. Inside the clubhouse complex there is an in-house restaurant where you can have a variety of snacks with hot and cold drinks.

There is also a video game center, an auditorium and a library. Kids will love this place. There are lots of fun games for kids like virtual reality video games, shooting, hunted house, go carting and many more types of water games. The boat is also a popular activity here. There is a huge pool where you can enjoy boating. Another popular attraction here is the water roller.

You can get inside this water roller and roll on the water. There is a shopping zone next to it. Where you can buy handmade toys and a variety of home decor items.

4. river rafting – Kullu Manali river rafting is at number 4 in this list. Rafting is ideal for everyone from experts to beginners. This rafting in Kullu Manali starts at 10 am. In this 14-kilometer journey of one and a half hours, there are several risk levels on water flow, rotation, flow, etc. The two main ones are river rafting and white water river rafting. It is open all week.

But it is closed so as not to take any risk during heavy rains. Various water providers organize this water sport. The charge for this river rafting in Kullu Manali can be between Rs.500 to Rs.2000. White water river rafting between different levels is a bit risky. This is fine for experts. But I would advise beginners only to do river rafting.

This is done where the risk is very low where the river flow is very low. If you do not carry a set of extra clothes while rafting, you should wear wet clothes at the end of rafting.

3. Rohtang pass – Rotang pass is one of the attractions of Manali at number three in this list. Located 51 km from Manali. It is one of the longest mountain passes in India and the world. Which is basically with Kullu Valley. Its tail is again connected to the highway. It is closed in winter for heavy snow fall.  The road to Rotang Pass is as beautiful as it is terrifying.

You have to take a permit from Manali to go to Rotang Pass. The cost for it is 500 rupees. If you are a snow lover then you must visit Rotang Pass. At any time of the year, it is covered with a blanket of ice. On both sides of the road you will see only white snow and ice.

2. Hidimba devi temple – Hidimba devi temple is number two in the list. This temple was built on a rock. The local name of this temple is dhumri temple. The structure of this temple is completely different from other temples. The doors, walls, roof of the temple are all made of wood. There is another temple not far from this temple. Its name is Bhim Mandir. This temple was built on stone in 1553. If you travel to Manali, you must visit Hirimba Devi Temple.

1. Solang valley – Number one on this list is the famous Solang valley. The first two places to visit when visiting Manali are Rotang Pass and Solang Valley. Solang Valley is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh, 14 km northwest of Manali. It falls on the way from Manali to Rotang Pass. 

There is a lot of adventure activity here. There are some adventures in this Solang Valley for everyone from children to adults. The Solang Valley is covered with snow in winter. Another big attraction here is the rope way. The rope way costs 500 to 600 rupees per head.
